In a setting close to home, the Marco Island business "Island Trends" has been doing quite well with it's online connection. Currently the store's income for online purchases is 10%. Not bad considering the alternative...expanding the store. Online, they use pay-per-click programs and organic listings. However, Chadd Chustz said "simply having a website is not sufficient". So, as in all aspects of marketing, the more you put in, the more you get out. Chadd is currently concentrated his online marketing expertise in Australia's Great Barrier Reef area.
As the online community starts to grow, there is a huge growth in the small business circuit. Now, companies have the chance to reach millions of people...it just takes passion, ingenuity, and some cash. But, the most important aspect is the passion...something that sucessful small businesses have plenty of.
